Matt Bonsai gives us a deeper tour of the garden

The garden is designed in spiraling plots, which increases the amount of plants you can put in the area. Also, instead of one crop lined up in a row (like conventional mono-crop farms), there is a polyculture of plants arranged together horizontally and vertically so that space is maximized efficiently. Also, just like people, plants do better when grouped with other plants. Diversity is key! Through experimentation and research, TLC has found guilds of plants when combined together, grow better.
Jenny mentioned in our orientation that the TLC community has the agreement that life is better when shared, EVEN when you're annoyed at someone for not doing their dishes.

So now, I'm inspired to find people to live with in Brooklyn that will help me grow.
I'm not doing this-(thing-called-life) alone anymore.
